No STANLEY stainless that comes with the Green Cups?!?!? haha cheapo cheapo is best ever! Great info here though!
Looks like those are vivo boots. How are those in the mountains/ rough terrain?
Damn Kifaru is making hay ☀️
really wish it came in ranger green
We need more Snyder hunting videos this coming season!
Hell Yeah!! That's the way to do right there!
Kifaru bino harness padding coming soon?
Aron, I've watched your archery UA-cam stuff and learned and enjoyed. I've listened to several podcasts and came away with valuable information. First, thanks. The Catholic Priest from Arkansas caught my attention as a lifelong resident of the Natural State. This podcast was insightful. Thanks to you and your guest for the openness and honesty. I'm a 74 year old retired United Methodist Minister who loves, and always have, archery and hunting, especially gobbling longbeards. I hope someday to meet you. In the meantime, I extend best wishes to you and Dan and your families.
Good shit man! I’m ordering one now 🤘🇺🇸
Good advice 👍🏽! Thanks for sharing!
That funnel is gangster. Is that a loading funnel? I gotta add that to my gear 🤙🏻
Damn that was a nice! Bear!!! Awsome video
Between the MSR dragonfly, windburner, and pocket rocket im covered. Im really not even interested in anything else. Im comfortable with everything i have it would have to be a new ground breaking stove to get me to switch.
A Power Wagon! That’s what I’m talking about.
What brand of boots are you using? Great video - keep making GREAT products. Own 3 backpacks so far.
Those are vivo barefeet
What jacket is that
Prototype
Love seeing these scouting videos! Hopefully you and Dan will put out some more before season
What was the name of that knot?
Bowline
Love the knowledge man🤘
This was cool
That was a cool, informative little video . Thanks!
Great tip on a water collection plan with the trash bag and return trip. Can you refresh my memory on what that Green Fleece layer is called again? Id like to pick on up for my wifes New Mexico Mtn Mule deer hunt this coming season. The bad news is Fires and Floods are raging thru the unit that the wife drew a tag in.
My wife listening in the background. Is he a fat guy? 😂😂
What is the name and/or the details on the shoulder straps on the bino harness.
New Prototype Aron is testing. Stay tuned!
you shared beautiful shots! 📽
This will be good
Been saying for a long time that the ultralight backpackers have this dialed. When I’m really minimizing weight for deep DIY backpacking hunts: BRS3000 + Toaks 550ml titanium pot + bic mini + 100g canister of isobutane fuel. Topically good for 4 days of boiling water for my mountain houses and coffee. I’ll take a 230g canister for longer/colder hunts.
Sounds like a great setup! Agreed, the ultralight backpacker and mountaineering community have their stuff dialed.
How's the Dall on a 22 inch ARC frame? 22 is what I need according to the size chart. And what the scabbard (another eventual purchase) also prefers. Thanks.
Get me back in stock cmon!
More on their way as we speak!
I'm a Reactor guy myself. Awesome unit. Sure it's not the lightest option but it is bombproof and works great in the wind. Great to have so many options though.
Reactor is a bombproof setup for sure! Agreed, its nice to be able to fine tune things to the individual!
I absolutely love this video, not only is it a super in-depth review I love your honesty of it, more please!!!
Absolutely. More gear videos coming up!
Best Fletch for close range(up to 50m) with heavy arrows
Hard to beat an alcohol stove for day hunts where you just want a hot coffee or a hot meal, or possibly a weekend trip. Its been a while since I weighed it but its probably like 2 oz for a stove and fuel to boil a cup of water. Not something I would bring when expecting high winds but Im not going to die if I dont have hot coffee and I can get cover if I need a hot meal. Wish you would have gotten into the fuel consumption. Id also be interested in the fuel consumption at different burn levels. Id assume a smaller pot is going to be more efficient if a stove isnt cranked wide open and ripping up the sides of the pot.
We may have to investigate that in part two of the Stove Review. And make sure we dont burn anything down in the process!
If looking for a more permanent lid solution FourDog makes a titanium replacement lid for 18 shipped, so not terribly priced. There's also a universal one on Amazon that's 4.5" that should fit but I haven't tried it. It's currently 13.
Jet Boil Mini Mo and a Toaks 750ml pot. Another great video from the Snyder Lab
The Evernew/ Pocket Rocket combo has been my go to system since 2014. It just keeps going
Great video. Been using the olicamp with the pocket rocket for years. I always thought it was beating my buddies stoves.
Great video, as always.
Looking for a new pack now that I’m looking at a minor back surgery. Won’t keep me out of the woods. Anyone that has experience with a certain pack after an L5-S1 herniation surgery I’m all ears
Hey old man quit yourSwearing it is unprofessional if I get any more swear words from either one of you two I upgrade you with a zero a -10 and I'll turn you off and not listen to you anymore.
I don't always hear very good, but I do not care to hear any swear words at all and people in the professional archery and people that are shooting in the ranges and stuff like that and they start using those swear words they need to have their mouth washed out with soap. It is very😊 professional
Spot on, I own around 20 pairs of zamberlan, loved how light the baltoras were but leaked within a year. Run 2090 and 2092 for all my hunting now, bomb proof and once u break in so comfortable and best of all they love to climb or side hill
It’s pretty nice, how heavy is it?
Pack weighs 3.12 lbs
I would like to use the frame for rucking. With what accessories could I put together the best setup? I want to be able to firmly hold a load of about 55-60 pounds. From already thank you very much.
On the basic end, the ARK Load Sling, a Water Bottle Pocket and Small Belt Pouch. We had a 63lb sandbag in it at the SD TAC event for customers to try out. Simple and effective. Sling will hold that and more easy. Toss a Water bottle pocket and small belt pouch on the waist belt for water and snacks! Higher end, the Stryker XL or Hellbender with the integrated load sling makes loading weights or sandbags a breeze.
@@Kifarutube I'll see in the web what parts are you referring to. Thanks for your response.
Does this go under/in-between a bag and the frame or outside a bag? Or instead of a bag ?
Are the silent knight vanes as soft as the aae trad vanes? I’m a trad shooter and have several silent knights from my compound days. Fly great on the compound. Just wondering if usable on trad?
looks like a great bag. I bought the reckoning for similar reasons. Its gets all my gear into the backcountry, and then compresses down for day hunting very well. Its very adaptable to whatever type of gear i need to get into it, or layout I decide. What sold me on the reckoning is the outer attachment points for pouches. I learned the hard way to ALWAYS keep my medical kit on the outside of the bag. Cut my thumb pretty bad in the backcountry with a bowsaw. Having to dig deep into the bag while bleeding is NO Bueno. But thanks to Aron with the tip about Lueko tape.....i was able to clean it up, throw a bandage and lueko tape over that and stay back there for the whole trip! Can you provide a link for that panel? I searched for it but couldnt locate it???
Reckoning is a solid pack for sure, one of our all time best sellers - why it's still around, as it still sells great! Team Easties Panel teameasties.com/all-products/ols/products/backcountry-location-marker
That compressed down a lot more than I expected it to. What’s the benefit of going with a pack like this, as opposed to say a Hellbender with a camp bag or large dry bag on the meat shelf?
Any plans to release 15/20 liter packs ?
Never know what our mad scientist Bender has cooking in his laboratory! Currently we do have the Bane, the Escape &Evade, and the Cinch (currently only available with Maniml package)
I think I want to sell my initial ascent bag to get this bag.
